The Leo Foundation intends to achieve its objectives through the formulation, funding and implementation of projects which stimulate a responsible management and protection of lions and associated large carnivores. Furthermore, the Foundation intends to prepare publications on the lion and associated large carnivores, support publicity on the subjects mentioned above, prepare newspaper articles, as well as contribute to radio and television programmes. The Leo Foundation may also provide advisory services, if required. Finally the Leo Foundation intends to arrange twinning projects between Dutch nature conservation organizations and National Parks in Africa, which are important for lion conservation.
