And the winner is...
The Dutch Zoo Association actively involves children in nature projects. Every year the participating Dutch zoos choose a new child as ambassador (kinderdierecteur). Part of the job is to promote a nature project in a competition. This year, Daniek Peppenster, kinderdierecteur for Safaripark Beekse Bergen chose our Pendjari Lion Project for this competition. The winning project gets EUR 2.500 and Daniek has done her very best to motivate family, friends and strangers to vote for our project. And with very good results... Daniek won our project the first place! Daniek, on behalf of the project, many thanks and a big paw from our lions Brice Bali, Missy Sothiré and Djawa!
